Sometimes trees develop in such a way as to have very weak crotch angles between certain limbs. In these cases it may be beneficial for tree preservation and for safety, to install a cable between the two weak limbs. This connecting wire or rope will enable the two limbs to acte as one member. Thereby preventing any undue stress on the tissue connecting them to the tree.
Cables may not always be necessary, and sometimes cannot save certain limbs. Please feel free to contact Arborfolia to determine the best plan of action, if you feel that limbs are unstable
